Our children learn by our example. Their values, opinions, experiences and education begin with our instruction through our words and actions. Volunteers who serve as mentors, or as Big Brothers and Big Sisters take on one of the most important jobs in the lives of children who are in need of role models. These volunteers share their families, their time and their love. They demonstrate stability, concern and responsibility to children who most desperately need those elements in their lives.
